Water Cutting using Ultra High and High Pressure Water Jetting

Water cutting techniques using UHP and HP water jets are an effective solution for surface preparation/cleaning (FPSO vessel maintenance for example) and for cutting during rig decommissioning.  The use of water cutting or jetting in this way is largely considered to be "green". No hazardous waste is produced, thus reducing the cost of waste disposal. Reusable scrap material can be collected which can once again be introduced into the manufacturing cycle.

Water jetting using pure water is an effective surface preparation/cleaning technique for use on the vertical, horizontal and overhead surfaces to be found on ship hulls, tanks and vessels and flat decks for example. It offers advantages both in costs and in reduced downtime, as it allows other works like painting, electrical, steel and mechanical operations to be carried out during the water jetting.
