This excellent statistic is wholly attributable to the positive attitude of our work force who have embraced the pro-active safety culture we promote and encourage throughout the business. The statistic is also reward and recognition for the business in general for the continual investment in safe systems of work, technology and training and development of our people.
Our safety observation card (SOC) scheme, launched across the company in 2010 has been a positive contributory factor, heightening the awareness of our employees and identifying improvements.
